She doesn’t sit quietly;
with a pink bubble gum in her mouth, she pops it again and again as if challenging the world.
Some people say “That’s rude,” or “Are you a child?”
But she doesn’t care.

Because she knows that popping gum is part play, part laughter, and part saying “I’m here.”
She inflates her joy like a balloon and pops it without hesitation.

Every pop is a small laugh thrown at the seriousness we’re taught to carry.
Life wasn’t meant to be lived like a strict notebook —
sometimes you need to bend the rules, and sometimes you need to laugh.
